August 2021 Newsletter

Dear Parents,

It is an extremely sad time of year where we say goodbye to some of our older children as they prepare to leave us for “Big School.” Many have been here from small babies until they are 5 years old.

The Rose Garden has been operating for 26 years on the 7th August. It is amazing to now welcome back some of our very first children’s children.

It has been a difficult 18 months but we have come through it better and stronger. It has certainly been a test for us all. We would like to thank you all once again for your patience and support.

Thank you for all your returned questionnaires. They were all very positive and extremely heartwarming. If you have yet to return your questionnaire then it is not too late. We will be in touch shortly with the ideas you have put forward.

There are changes to the Covid restrictions from 7th August. However, we are unsure of what these changes will mean for childcare settings as of yet. We will keep you updated as soon as we know!

We are still hoping to plan some trips in the near future. As many of you know, we really enjoy planning multiple trips throughout the year. It is such a lovely chance for parents to meet and children to socialise outside of nursery. Unfortunately, due to Covid this has not been able to happen for the last 18 months or so. Miss Charlene is in contact with Folly Farm for a potential trip in September. We will let you know as soon as possible.

Dates for Diaries:

Monday 30th August - Bank Holiday (Closed)

Next month’s topic is: All About Me

Thank you for your continuing support.

Kindest Regards,

Ann Khoshbin, Staff and Children at The Rose Garden.
