September 2020 Newsletter

Dear Parents,

This month is a busy time for the children as many of them move up a group. This transition stage is done gradually. It is also a very sad time of year where some of the children go off to big school, we hope you take lots of memories with you from The Rose Garden Day Nursery.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome all the new children and parents to The Rose Garden.

Miss Gemma will not be returning to nursery after her maternity leave. She has decided to take a different path and apply for a Nursing Degree next year. She will be gaining experience in the next few months to help with this. We wish her all the very best!

Usually we are busy planning our annual Parents Evening but due to Covid-19 we are unable to do this for the first time in 25 years. We will miss this opportunity to welcome parents into the nursery for a social evening as well as discussions with Keypersons about your child. Hopefully we will be able to make up for it next year!

We will also be unable to participate in our annual fundraising for Children In Need. This is a charity close to our hearts and we have supported them for the last 25 years raising in excess of £40,000 in total. We will be making a donation on behalf of nursery and hope to continue our fundraising next year.

We will shortly be sending out our annual parent questionnaires. These are very important to us as it helps us ascertain your needs and expectations. These all form part of our Quality Assurance schemes that we are a part of.

Thank you for your continuing support.

Kindest Regards,

Ann Khoshbin, Staff and Children at The Rose Garden.
