May 2019 Newsletter

Dear Parents,

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of the new children and parents to The Rose Garden. At the same time we are really sad that some of our children are moving onto, ‘Big School’.

Summer time is on its way. We are asking all parents to bring in a sunhat and sun cream for your child to use in nursery – we will label them for you.

We will be organising our annual trip to Folly Farm on Saturday 15th June. If you would like to come along then please just speak to a member of staff.

The theme for this month is, “In the Jungle”. The children will be learning more about this topic and also taking part in lots of fun activities. The children all enjoyed our visit from Zoo Lab last month, and especially enjoyed being able to interact with all of the different types of ‘Mini Beasts’.

Thank you all for completing our questionnaire. 100% of parents and children are happy with the facility. Some of your comments were extremely heartwarming and very appreciative of the loving and caring environment that your child is nurtured in.

We have decided to send the children’s Learning Journey’s home every 3 months for your perusal. It is very important that these are then returned to nursery by the due date.

Please follow us on twitter, where you will see a log of our activities (learning through play).

Please can we remind parents that if there are any changes of details, particularly contact details and if there are any changes to who can collect your child, we do need to be informed immediately to keep our records up to date. Forms are available at nursery.

Miss Charlene is currently planning lots of fun trips for the coming year and will keep you all updated on these.

We have achieved our Investors In People at the Gold Standard. This is a huge achievement for us and only the top 2% of businesses who apply achieve this. Thank you all for your continuing support with our awards.
